周永志,1938年出生,浙江东阳人,原金华县教育学会副秘书长,教师三笔字(粉笔、钢笔、毛笔)书法指导师,义乌工商学院金华职业技术学院、金华老年大学外聘书法指导师。
现系《中央美术学院》外聘书法教授、书法博士生导师中国教育联盟客座教授。中国文化管理协会聘任的书法技师技能鉴定的培训项目专家委员,中国书画艺术评审委员会授予“功勋艺术家”称号。文旅部艺术发展中心授予“人民艺术家”称号。
其书作以特点十分明显独特称著。《中国收藏》评其书一称法“笔势纵横,淋漓痛快……,有强烈的自我意识,并形成自己显明特色。香港书家评论他的字具有“形态美,气势美,意境美”。《艺术与价值》点评周永志书法“大气磅礴,挥洒自如,一时急泻如风雨雷电,一时平静如松生空谷……
题写了《长城谣》《黄大年》等电影片名,20多幅书作写在景德镇瓷器上烧制成两套“瓷器国礼”、出版了三套珍藏邮册、四套草书挂历。
先后编写了《小学古诗浅析》《金华市读本》两套教材创作了《赤松黄大仙仙乡新诗词》近40首,先后在《世界美术》《中国书法》《中国书法研究》等权威书法刊物上发表了《在书法创作中贯彻“创造性转变”“创新性发展”的几点思考》、《书法形体美、气势美、意境美诌议》等论文。

Yongzhi, born in 1938 in Dongyang, Zhejiang Province, is a former
Deputy Secretary-General of Jinhua County Education Association. He
serves as a calligraphy instructor for three writing tools (chalk,
fountain pen, and brush) and has been an external calligraphy mentor at
Yiwu Institute of Commerce, Jinhua Vocational College, and Jinhua Senior
University. Currently, he holds multiple prestigious titles: External
Calligraphy Professor at Central Academy of Fine Arts, Doctoral
Supervisor for Calligraphy Studies, Visiting Professor at China
Education Alliance, Expert Committee Member for Calligraphy Technician
Certification under China Cultural Management Association,
"Distinguished Artist" honored by Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Art
Review Committee, and "People’s Artist" awarded by Ministry of Culture
and Tourism’s Art Development Center. His calligraphic works are
celebrated for their distinctive characteristics. The magazine *China
Collection* praised his style as "vigorous brushwork with fluidity...
demonstrating strong self-awareness and unique artistic identity." Hong
Kong calligraphers noted its "formal beauty, dynamic energy, and poetic
depth." *Art & Value* described his calligraphy as "majestic and
unrestrained, sometimes like thunderstorm surges, other times serene as
pine trees in valleys." He has created titles for films such as *The
Great Wall Ballad* and *Huang Danyan*, with over 20 calligraphic works
inscribed on Jingdezhen porcelain forming two sets of "Porcelain
National Gifts," published three commemorative stamp albums, and four
cursive script calendars. He has authored two educational materials: "A
Primer to Ancient Poetry in Primary Schools" and "Jinhua City Reader",
while creating nearly 40 new poems titled "New Poems from the Immortal
Land of Chisong Huang Daxian". His scholarly contributions include
papers published in authoritative calligraphy journals such as "World
Art", "Chinese Calligraphy", and "Research on Chinese Calligraphy",
including "Reflections on Implementing ’Creative Transformation’ and
’Innovative Development’ in Calligraphy Creation" and "Discussions on
the Aesthetic Beauty, Momentum, and Artistic Conception in Calligraphic
Forms".
