毛学校，字敬之，号清斋主人，山东东营人。系中国书法家协会、中华诗词学会、中国楹联学会会员，国家一级艺术大师，清华大学美术学院客座教授，英国剑桥艺术学院研究生导师，中国书画艺术指导委员，北京世纪名人国际书画院院士，北京京华阁书画院副院长，香港书法家协会副主席、荣誉主席，山东书协会员、滨州市书协顾问，《黄河三角洲书画院》常务副院长，山东曲阜鸿儒书画院常务副院长，有诗集《清河集》《清斋诗墨》，书法《第三届中国重阳书画展获奖书法家》和《一代大家》毛学校专刊，《一带一路书画名家毛学校》等80余种书法作品由北京故宫博物院、荣宝斋出版社编缉出版。是埃塞俄比亚驻华使馆签约书法家，作品多次作为国礼赠美欧及阿拉伯各国。作品多被美欧日韓収藏。
毛学校先生，自幼酷爱书法。曾参加天津书法函授学院，中国书协培训中心高级班，研究班学习。多年来，临池不断，取得了较大成就。书法1996一2020年在全国书法展赛中获金奖11次，银奖5次。书法论文《临帖习字中要处理好用笔的几个关系》《浅谈书外修养》曾在《羲之书画报》发表。2019年中国书法家协会授予“2019年全国德艺双馨艺术家”称号。2020年9月，由文旅部外交部批准，编辑“一带一路国家名片”新时代艺术大师”毛学校黄永玉靳尚谊《三人书画艺术专刋》，在一带一路国家发行。11月，两幅书法作品被耶鲁大学英国艺朮中心收藏。同时被文化部艺术发展中心䓁单位授于《国家一级艺术大师》荣誉称号。2021年香港书法家协会第十三届“京津冀走廊的明珠＂书画评比大展中荣获“第一名“。2023年4月参加北京荣宝斋<全国艺术名家邀请展>，20幅书法作品参加北京《水墨巨匠》全国艺术名家邀请展。六月，中国书法"兰亭奖”组委会授于《兰亭奖|终身成就奖》，中国文联授于《中国书画终身成就奖》，中国文旅部授于《中国艺术泰斗丰碑奖》称号。9月河北美术出版社编辑出版"中国高等美术学院名师教学范本》毛字校书法作品选》第二辑。2025年1月由香港世界文化艺术出版社出版《世界高䓁艺术院校名师教学案例＜毛学校人物卷＞》。
作品先后入编：《新中国美术家大典书法卷》《中国精品艺术》《中华翰墨名家作品集》，《世界艺术年鉴》，2022年《中国艺术家年鉴》，《中国美术史》，《中国美术通史》等30余种书刊。
毛学校先生，在诗词创作上也深有造诣，他的诗词2008年入选《第二届华夏诗词奖》作品集。2010年，诗词十四首入选《齐鲁百年诗词选》。2016年诗词20首入选中华诗词学会编辑的《集成》山东卷等。
经过多年的辛勤耕耘，毛学校先生的书法美誉更高，以至成为国内外著名书法大家。欧阳中石先生亲自为毛学校题并赠送《中国艺术大家》牌匾。
Mao
Xiaoxue,courtesy name Jingzhi and pseudonym Qingzhai Zhuren,was born in
Dongying,Shandong Province.A member of the China Calligraphers
Association,Chinese Poetry Society,and Chinese Couplet Society,he holds
the title of National First-Class Art Master.He serves as a visiting
professor at Tsinghua University’s Academy of Arts and Design,graduate
supervisor at Cambridge College of Art in the UK,and advisor to the
Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Art Guidance Committee.His academic
titles include Academician of Beijing Century Celebrity International
Painting and Calligraphy Academy,Vice President and Honorary Chairman of
Honghua Pavilion Painting and Calligraphy Academy in Beijing,and member
of Shandong Calligraphers Association with advisory role for Binzhou
City Calligraphers Association.As executive vice president of both the
Yellow River Delta Painting and Calligraphy Academy and Qufu Hongru
Painting and Calligraphy Academy in Shandong,he has published poetry
collections like"Qinghe Collection"and"Qingzhai Poetry and
Calligraphy,"along with calligraphy works such as"Award-Winning
Calligrapher at the 3rd China Chongyang Painting and Calligraphy
Exhibition"and special publications including"Mao Xiaoxue:A Master of
Calligraphy."Over 80 calligraphy works have been compiled by Beijing
Palace Museum and Rongbaozhai Publishing House.Recognized as a
contracted calligrapher by the Ethiopian Embassy in China,his works have
been presented as state gifts to Europe,America,and Arab countries,with
many pieces collected by collectors from these regions.Since
childhood,Mr.Mao Xiaoxue has been passionate about calligraphy.He
attended advanced courses at Tianjin Calligraphy Correspondence College
and the China Calligraphers Association Training Center.Through years of
dedicated practice,he achieved remarkable success,winning 11 gold
medals and 5 silver medals in national calligraphy exhibitions between
1996 and 2020.His academic papers"Key Relationships in Brushwork
Handling During Copying"and"On Extracurricular Cultivation in
Calligraphy"were published in"Xi Zhi Painting and Calligraphy News."In
2019,he was honored with the title of"National Artist of Moral Integrity
and Artistic Excellence"by the China Calligraphers Association.In
September 2020,the"Belt and Road National Brand"New Era Art Masters
series featuring calligraphic works by Mao Xiaoxue,Huang Yongyu,and Jin
Shangyi was officially published in China under the approval of the
Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.In
November,two of his calligraphy pieces were collected by Yale
University’s British Art Center.Simultaneously,he was awarded the
honorary title of"National First-Class Art Master"by the Ministry of
Culture’s Art Development Center.At the 13th"Pearl of the
Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Corridor"Calligraphy Competition organized by the
Hong Kong Calligraphers Association in 2021,he claimed first place.In
April 2023,he participated in the Rongbaozhaiin Beijing,showcasing 20
calligraphy works at theNational Art Masters Exhibition.In June,he
received the"Lanting Award|Lifetime Achievement Award"from the Chinese
Calligraphy Committee,the"Lifetime Achievement Award in Chinese
Calligraphy"from the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles,and
the"China Art Titan Monument Award"from the Ministry of Culture and
Tourism.In September,Hebei Fine Arts Publishing House released the
second volume of"Chinese Higher Art Academy Master Teaching
Models:Selected Calligraphy Works by Mao Xiaoxue".In January 2025,Hong
Kong World Cultural&Art Publishing House published"World Art
Colleges Master Teaching Cases:Mao Xiaoxue Volume".His works have been
featured in over 30 publications including the"Calligraphy Volume"of
the"New China Artists Encyclopedia","Chinese Masterpieces","Chinese
Calligraphy Masters Collection","World Art Yearbook","China Artist
Yearbook"(2022),"History of Chinese Art",and"Comprehensive History of
Chinese Art".Mr.Mao Xiaoxue also excelled in poetry composition,with his
verses selected for the"Second Huaxia Poetry Award"anthology in 2008.In
2010,fourteen of his poems were included in the anthology"A Century of
Poetry from Qilu".In 2016,twenty of his poems were featured in the
Shandong Volume of"The Complete Collection"edited by the Chinese Poetry
Society.Through years of dedicated practice,Mr.Mao Xiaoxue’s calligraphy
skills have earned him international acclaim,solidifying his status as a
renowned master of the art.Mr.Ouyang Zhongshi personally inscribed and
presented him with a plaque titled"Master of Chinese Art".
