因其造型似牛头，又名“牛头尊”。又因多绘百鹿纹，所以又叫“百鹿尊”。胎体厚重，造型端庄，肩部附螭龙耳。通体以粉彩绘山水百鹿图，百鹿神态各异，或奔跑，或嬉戏，或觅食，或小憩，一派生机勃勃的景象，四周衬以参天古树，山峦叠嶂及瀑布溪流，绘画形象生动，自然逼真。鹿与“禄”谐音，禄即俸禄，百禄形容俸禄之丰厚，因此百鹿纹是祝颂加官进禄的吉祥图案。
